Leigh Keily is an Australian celebrity, advertising and entertainment photographer based in London. He studied at Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion. Whilst studying at LCF he was commissioned to shoot a campaign for UK fashion brand River Island.
Leigh’s portraits were brought to a global audience with his recent Prince William for Attitude magazine shoot.
Leigh is highly sought after to photograph celebrities, with recent work including Alan Carr, Ant and Dec, Steve Aoki, Tinie Tempah, James Van Der Beek, Kunal Nayyar, wan Rheon, amongst many others. Commercially Leigh has shot for large brands including MTV, River Island, John Freida and Tesco, and smaller niche mens brands like Vanwolff, Rufskin and WP Menswear.
Leigh is also the co-founder and editor of quarterly specialist men’s magazine JÓN, which is available worldwide featuring Leigh’s interviews and photographs of celebrities including Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte, Game of Thrones’ Joe Dempsie, Russell Tovey, as well as cast members of Downton Abbey.
He also teaches photography at London College of Fashion, Central Saint Martins and at fashion colleges in Malaysia. Leigh has just completed his first book, Photographing Fashion, published by Crowood Press and available on Amazon.
